Free browser game
Blitzball
A free, online rocket dodgeball game. Deflect a homing rocket, flick it back, and be the last one standing.
What is Blitzball?
Blitzball is rocket dodgeball in your browser. A single homing rocket locks onto a player and chases them across the arena. The instant it reaches you, you airblast it to deflect it straight back, sending it screaming toward someone else. Read its arc, time the deflect, and flick your aim to steer where it goes next. Every successful deflect makes the rocket faster, so rallies build until someone misreads it and gets hit. Last player, or last team, standing wins the round.
It is free to play, runs in any modern browser with no download, and works on both desktop and mobile. Jump in as a guest in seconds, or sign in to track your stats and climb the leaderboards.
Similar games: Blitzball is inspired by the classic TF2 Dodgeball gamemode. If you enjoy deflect-the-projectile games such as Blade Ball, or the Genji Ball deflect mode from Overwatch, you will feel right at home. It takes that catch-it-and-throw-it-back loop and builds a whole rocket dodgeball game around it.
How to play
- Move and look. Move with WASD and aim with the mouse. On a phone, use the on-screen sticks.
- Deflect. The rocket homes in on its target. When it arrives, airblast it to knock it back the way it came.
- Steer. Drag or flick your aim as you deflect to choose where the rocket flies next.
- Build speed. Each clean deflect speeds the rocket up. The longer the rally, the faster and deadlier it gets.
- Survive. One hit takes you out. Outlast everyone else to win the round.
